ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY, TRIGGER THE BLOODSHED Confirmed For U.K.'s DARK DAYS

ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY, THE PLIGHT, OUTCRY COLLECTIVE, TRIGGER THE BLOODSHED, LOWER THAN ATLANTIS and DEAF HAVANA are the first confirmed bands for Dark Days, a U.K. festival packed with the newest and best metal and hardcore acts around. The one-day all-ages gig will be held at the O2 Academy Islington and O2 Academy 2 Islington on April 11: two rooms of great new and established bands taking you from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Expect to see the best bits of Subverse — the freshest bands, a great atmosphere, guest DJs and giveaways, but now with the expertise of the Metal Hammer staff, a bigger venue, more bands for your money, stalls, games and giveaways: one lucky ticket holder will win a brand new Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul guitar.

Visible Noise ran the Subverse all ages nights between November 2003 and March 2008 , giving many of the UK's current megastars some of their earliest shows — BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, GALLOWS, FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND and BRING ME THE HORIZON all graced the stage on their way to the top. Praise for the event came from fans, press and bands alike for giving the U.K.'s best talent a platform, and many were dismayed when the event closed its doors for the last time in mid-2008.

But as promised, the event is back — bigger, better and much, much scarier...
